This year, Third Spaces joined Sunday Sessions ATX and Art is Cool to present Freedom + Juneteenth, a community celebration held on June 14, 2026 at Moody Amphitheater in Waterloo Park.

The evening brought together music, creativity, reflection, and connection in the heart of downtown Austin. DJs Wyldflower and Schithegod set the soundtrack while guests moved throughout the park and experienced a range of interactive activations designed for all ages.

Programming included Vibe & Paint, a Silent Book Club experience facilitated by Black Pearl Books, a family-friendly Kids Corner, and Give Me My Flowers, an affirmation-based activation centered on giving ourselves recognition, care, and appreciation in the present.

Guests also enjoyed food from Whole Lotta Soul ATX, creating the kind of relaxed park atmosphere where people could eat, dance, read, create, connect, and simply spend time together.
